Accommodation - The Cottage
The
cottage is very isolated and benefits from a peaceful, beautiful
setting 'on the edge of the world', but ideally located
close to the main tourist sites on the West Side of Lewis
and the Outer Hebrides to make this a perfect option for
your rural retreat.
The
cottage has two bedrooms, one generously sized double bedroom
with a super-king bed and a small single bedroom. It accommodates
3 persons. There is a dining table and chairs in the living
area and a small fully equipped kitchen. There is sky tv
in the living room.
OUTDOORS
The cottage has a private car parking area and lawned garden
over looking the loch. The sandy beach is approximately
2 minutes walk and has been referred to by many guests as
their 'private' beach due to the small number of other visitors
to it.

CLOTHING
The cottage has an entrance porch with tiled floors and
shoe and coat racks and there is a washing machine in the
kitchen as well as an iron and board too.
KITCHEN
The cottage has a modern very well equipped kitchen. Containing
a cooker and grill, fridge / freezer , kettle, toaster,
coffee maker, glasses, crockery and plentiful cookware.
DINING/LOUNGE
The cottage has a comfortable table and matching chairs
for some fine home dining situated within the living room
overlooking the loch - great for watching all the wildlife.
You will find laminate floors throughout the living areas.
The lounge has a cosy sofa for you to relax and there is
Satellite TV, along with a CD player with a great variety
of celtic CDs to choose from. All
bed linen and towels are included in the price
If your stay is for two weeks or more clean bed linen and
towels will be supplied, and the option of cleaning is available
Utilities
Oil and electric and are all included in the price.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout, with radiators
and a thermostatic control in the hall.
EXTRAS
Bikes can be borrowed. If you're a serious biker, we recommend
that you may be better to bring your own! PLEASE ADVISE
US IN ADVANCE IF YOU WISH TO BORROW A BIKE.
Travelling with an infant? - travel cot/baby bath/high chairs
are available to use, FREE of charge. PLEASE ADVISE US AT
THE TIME OF BOOKING WHAT YOU REQUIRE
Essentials
We maintain essentials in the cottage, i.e. tea, coffee,
toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, washing powder, washing up
liquid etc.
HONEYMOONERS
We are delighted to be a popular honeymoon choice and please
advise us at the time of booking. We welcome you here with
a complimentary bottle of champagne!
We
regret we do not accept any pets, (except guide dogs).
The cottage is not suitable for disabled access.
There is a no smoking policy in the cottage too. |
